We repair all types of clocks: Grandfather Clocks, Wall Clock, Mantel Clocks, Quartz Clocks and Cuckoo Clocks. Some clocks need just a small adjustment; others a full overhaul.

A clock repair overhaul consists of the total dismantling of the movement, inspection of every pivot and every bushing hole to determine the best course of action with the repair process.

 
Sometimes with broken mainsprings there is damage to the wheel train on the pinions and pivots, all this is looked over with magnification.

Then we clean the clock parts with an ultrasonic cleaning machine to be sure we get off all the old oil that has solidified and became an abrasive rather than a lubricant. This is followed by the tedious process of pivot polishing and re-bushing when it is required. Then re-assemble the parts, followed by the minute adjusting process and then oiling.

The last step is the testing. We set up the clock for testing followed up by final testing.  When the clock passes these two phases then we will return your clock to you.
 

Overhauls cost as little as $190.00 per train. The average estimate for a two train clock is $380.00.  
Grandfathers range from $450.00-$1200.00 +.
